For 20 years, Keiser has been developing industry-leading Commercial Indoor bikes that combine simple yet elegant designs to provide a smooth, durable, and low-maintenance ride perfect for any home or club. The flagship unit for 2018 is the Keiser M3i – which adds new ergonomics and technology to their best selling M series line, resulting in their most advanced model yet.
The drive train for the Keiser M3i is built around a smooth Poly-V belt drive, which provides a silky-smooth and whisper-quiet ride, which is also completely maintenance free as it doesn’t require any lubrication or tension-adjustment. This belt powers the innovative rear-facing flywheel which keeps vulnerable flywheel bearings protected and away from the sweat zone, and uses a maintenance-free magnetic resistance system which never wears out or needs to be replaced – unlike the traditional brake pad resistance systems of other bike manufacturers.
The M3i accommodates riders of all sizes from 4’10 – 7’ tall, and has a max weight limit of 350lbs. The specific V-shaped frame is designed to allow the seat and handlebars to adjust in conjuction with one another, and replicate the way an outdoor bike frame will vary to accommodate larger or smaller riders. New to the M3i However, is the updated butterfly-design handlebars which are more ergonomically correct, allowing for a greater number of hand positions and greater adjustability.
The iconic Keiser resistance lever is placed directly in front of the rider for quick and easy adjustments, and sends the data straight into the on-board Intelligent console with Bluetooth that comes standard with every bike. Being one of the only commercial brands where a console is included standard, Riders can track Cadence, Time, Distance, Power, and resistance, viewing it in real-time on the console or by streaming the data via Bluetooth to connect with fitness apps on any smart phone or tablet. Riders looking for entertainment options or motivating workout videos can use the new Media Tray with the M3i to utilize their own personal tablet to stream any content or training tools you desire.
The M3i also comes standard with Dual-sided pedals that accommodate both athletic shoes or SPD cleats, curved crank arms for enhanced rider body-mechanics, and built-in stretch pads for your post-workout cooldown…(read more)
