From the moment I climbed aboard this new Elite model from NordicTrack, I knew it was special. Comprised of mostly welded parts, a 16-pound flywheel that supports up to 300 pounds, it feels muscular, and rides like a thoroughbred. I grinded through every phase of the pedal stroke—pushing and pulling at high resistance—and the bike remained grounded. It handles speed, like a champ, too. I got all the way up to 22 MPH without a waver. The flywheel sports silent magnetic resistance that truly lives up to its name—I didn’t hear a sound. And its inertia-enhanced feature made every revolution feel suave, as if the bike was egging me on. It worked, royally. My planned 20-minute routine nearly doubled with no objection from legs, or my little black dress.
